About Us

Risen Media was founded by Russell Crawford to serve the Central Texas community by empowering it's faith communities in media ministry. Russell got his start in media ministry as the Director of Communications for Tarrytown United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas. Russell learned what it takes to invigorate a church's online ministry by helping TUMC's media presence live up to its status at the second largest church in its conference. Now, Risen Media wants to serve the rest of Texas, and more, by sharing those skills and lessons with you.
